Summary:
Hoosiers: A basketball coach with a checkered past becomes the new coach of the underdog high school basketball team in a 1951 sleepy Indiana farm town, using methods that infuriate the townspeople. Jackie Robinson story: A biographical picture about Jackie Robinson's life and role in baseball. Pride of the Yankees: Traces the life of Lou Gehrig, famous baseball Hall of Fame player who played in 2130 consecutive games before falling at age 37 to ALS, a deadly nerve disease which now bears his name. Gehrig is followed from his athletic childhood in New York to his famous 'Luckiest Man' speech at his farewell day in 1939.
