Summary:
"Dada was born in 1916, at the height of WWI. This cry of revolt against the communities that produced such abominable slaughters has literary, artistic, international as well as dissident ramifications that revolutionized modern art in the 20th century. Viva Dada recalls the statements and proclamations of a group of Dadaists, among whom Tristan Tzara, Hugo Ball, Francis Picabia and Raoul Hausmann who, a century later, still sound incredibly subversive. This collage film, enhanced by modern animation techniques, tells about the DADA turn of mind, from the birth of the movement, century ago, to its revival in a current achievement, the Dadaglobe, without leaving aside their most iconoclastic events."--Container.
