Notes:
Title from gameboard. Edition statement from container. Square gameboard is black with 169 small square cutouts in a 13 x 13 grid. Blocks are in 8 colors with 50 of each color: green (terrain blocks), yellow (coin blocks), blue (water blocks), red (hazard blocks), orange (exploding blocks), purple (enemy blocks), pink (power-up blocks), and white (story blocks). One of the guides is a fold-out poster of "Ugly sweater kitty poultry panic" showing a cat dressed in sneakers and a purple- and pink-striped sweater and carrying a bomb advancing toward some frightened chickens. The flip side contains 2 "challenges" with step-by-step instructions for building a game and a hero, the latter being the cat in the sweater.
Summary:
Children use the blocks and gameboard to design rooms and characters. A free app, available from any of 3 vendors, is then downloaded to a tablet computer (included in kit), which can take a picture of the rooms and characters as each is created. Using functions in the app, the designer can add more colors, decoration, and music, create animation, and more. The game is played on a tablet computer and shared by posting it to the app's Infinity Wall.
