The motet Oleum effusum est appears in Strozzi's Op. 5. A manuscript found in the Royal Academy of Music in London features an addition to the work, consisting of a setting of Psalm 21/22. This manuscript had previously been attributed to Carissimi. This is the first edition to contain the complete music as it appears in the manuscript. Includes bibliographical references.
