Summary:
Tae-Shik is an ex-special agent with a tragic past. He runs a small pawnshop, and So-Mi, the young girl who lives next door, is his only friend. When So-Mi's mother becomes involved in a major crime, mother and daughter are kidnapped. To save So-Mi, Tae-Shik makes a certain arrangement with the crime mob. With So-Mi missing, the police begin to chase Tae-Shik. With the police and the underground mob closing in, Tae-Shik continues his frantic search as his hidden past slowly becomes revealed.
