Police Lieutenant Lindsay Boxer retreats to the small town of Half Moon Bay when she is put on trial for firing her weapon in self-defense. While there, a series of murders remind her of an unsolved case from earlier in her career. Boxer finds her own life threatened as she struggles to solve the mystery Half Moon Bay and prove her innocence in the courtroom.
