Cloth-covered case-bound vols., each with a single, sewn signature of text attached to the left side of its cover and a tunnel book attached to the right side of its cover. One text is titled "Preface" and the other is titled "The chess game", which is an excerpt from Through the looking glass, Chapter 11. The tunnel books have "peep show"--Style viewing holes. Titles letterpress printed on colored paper and glued to spines. Issued in cloth-covered slipcase with cut-out hole in spine, revealing title: 'A peep-show Alice'.
