In these five episodes he introduces children to some of the many different ways people use music to express feelings. He visits with world renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma and the Empire Brass Quintet. He explores rhythms with Ella Jenkins and with a fascinating collection of rhythmic instruments from all over the world. A factory visits show how people make bass violins and in Make-Believe there's lots of excitement with a Bass Violin Festival. The musicians were John Costa, Michael Moricz, Carl McVicker and Robert Rawsthorne.
