Summary:
Mozart world of piano music is revealed mostly in his concertos, most of which were composed with the intention of Mozart performing them himself. Austrian pianist Rudolf Buchbinder is famous for interpreting Mozart's music. In these two concertos, where the melancholy coloring of the composer's mature style can already be heard, Buchbinder brings a wealth of expressive nuances to light with accompaniment by the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, under the baton of Sir Neville Marriner.
