Summary:
Kenny Rogers stars as John J. MacShayne, a colorful sleuth who works as a trouble-shooter for a major casino in Las Vegas. MacShayne, still in the process of working off his debt to the casino, is assigned by the hotel to keep an eye on superstar entertainers "Ozzie & Cindy Evans" (Michael McKean and Maria Conchita Alonso) and Senator-elect Franklin Carter and his wife Joan (Daniel Hugh Kelley and Dey Young.) After an onstage fight between Ozzie and Cindy, Ozzie is found murdered in his dressing room and Cindy is the prime suspect.
