Summary:

Two women -- A mother and daughter flee Rome during World War II (Loren won an Oscar for best actress). The last song - A tense dramatic thriller about an unscrupulous chemical company's sinister plot to cover up deaths caused by toxic waste. Mesmerized - Based on the true story of an ill-fated marriage that ended with a mysterious death. 18-year-old Victoria wanted to see the world and experience life outside of her orphanage. Oliver Thompson, a middle-aged merchant, wanted a wife and family. In an arranged marriage, Victoria joined Oliver "till death do part." Now she stands trial for murder.
