Summary:
Judy Foster (Jane Powell) is a young woman determined to attend the big school dance with an impressive date. Judy and her lifelong friend Carol (Elizabeth Taylor) fall out when they both fall for a suave older man. A high-spirited teen, Judy manages to unintentionally make a hash of her friends and family's love lives.
