Summary:
Ichirō's father is a wealthy businessman who keeps a mistress in his home and presents her as the children's "sister." When Ichirō reaches adolescence he learns the truth and begins to hate his family. He later finds sanctuary in small bakery run by a single mother with a small boy. Ichirō grows close to the boy, only to discover that he is actually his half-brother by his father who raped the mother when she worked in his company. With this revelation, Ichirō's family comes tumbling down like a "house of wooden blocks."
