Summary:
Napoleon Bonaparte, inspiring his people with his military and political genius as well as his revolutionary fervor, becomes, with a few brief years, Emperor of France and Master of Europe. After 15 years of victory, in 1812 he meets with disaster in his Russian Campaign. In 1813, defeated by the combined forces of 4 nations at Leipzig, Napoleon is driven to the very gates of Paris where he awaits his destiny. In March 1815, he makes dramatic escape from Elba in exile for his last and desperate bid for ultimate power and glory, which culminate in his narrow defeat by Wellington on the bloody fields of Waterloo.
