Chris Edwards, a retired F.D.N.Y. firefighter and first responder during the tragedies that surrounded 9911 recounts his life during his years with the Fire Department of New York. The book is a candid history that allows the reader to experience what it's like to be part of the F.D.N.Y. The author recalls all his experiences that led up to 911 and the spiritual journey that followed. His style of personal memoir to each reader as he explains how he had coped and gained a new perspective on his life. He explains how he has dealt with such enormous loss and continues to have perpetual respect for all those who suffered and continue to suffer due to the tragedies of that day.
