Summary:
The brilliant 1958 TV sci-fi drama series, was an adaption of H.G. Wells' 1897 novel of the same name. A precursor to The Saint, The Avengers and the James Bond craze of the mid-1960's, this version, which portrays Wells' classic character in a 20th century setting, is perhaps the most famous of all the adaptations.
