Summary:
Beerfest: Jan and Todd Wolfhouse are given the task of taking their grandfather's ashes to be settled in the family plot in Germany. Little do they know, the family plot is actually Beerfest, an Olympic-like test of a beer gamer's mettle. When they get there and are accused by their German cousins of having stolen the family beer recipe, they are quickly humiliated in a drinking contest and sent back to America with their tails between their legs. They vow to have their revenge and come back next year to win the Beerfest competition. Jan and Todd assemble a team of their best friends and former drinking buddies including Landfill, Fink and Barry. Semi-pro: 1970s, Flint, Michigan. Jackie Moon is a former pop sensation who somehow made enough money from a couple of hit records to buy Flint's semi-pro basketball team, the Tropics. The team consists of a bunch of disorganized losers with one genuine talent named Coffee Black. Despite knowing little about the game, Jackie is the Tropics' coach as well as a player. His greater love involves coming up with bizarre marketing stunts to draw in an audience. His stunts include wrestling a bear and attempting a motorcycle jump over a line of cheerleaders. When the league plans to merge with the NBA and in order to survive, the Tropics must do the seemingly impossible - win. The Tropics look like they might be shut down so Jackie desperately agrees to let washed-up veteran player Monix take over coaching. Harold & Kumar go to White Castle: Two twenty-something stoner roommates, one a Korean-American investment banker, Harold, and the other an Indian-American medical school candidate, Kumar, go through a life changing journey. They are on a quest to satisfy their cravings for burgers and spend the night roaming the state of New Jersey in search of White Castle hamburgers running into one screwy obstacle after another. Mr. Woodcock: John Farley grew up as a chubby kid with no athletic skills and poor self-esteem. During his early teenage years his nemesis was Mr. Woodcock, the school's gym teacher. Woodcock took a sadistic glee in tormenting John and others like him. Years later, John has slimmed down and has come to terms with his self-image. He has become a best-selling author, publishing a self-help book on overcoming the specters of the past. John comes home to visit his widowed mother, Beverly, and discovers she has a surprise for him. She has decided to get married again, and her new fiancé is Mr. Woodcock. Horrified, John is determined to keep his mom from walking down the aisle. Along the way finds himself struggling to settle some old scores.
