Summary:
Rex Gummi is a modal jazz composition with a medium tempo funk groove for trumpet, alto saxophone, piano, bass and drums. However, the horn parts may be played by any instruments (2 saxophones, 2 trumpets, flutes, etc.) permitting the range is suitable for each instrument. All instrument parts are included and can be photocopied from the book for individual performers. The score is presented in concert key in order to make transposing for substitute horn parts easier... back cover.
