Summary:
The shadow gang: John Wayne stars as U.S. Marshal Travers and attempts to rescue a town that is being haunted by a mysterious band of bandits.
Claim jumpers: John Wayne stars as a tough Eastener who heads out West to meet his father's mining partner, Hayes. When they strike it rich, outlaws try to jump their claim by framing Hayes for murder.
Rodeo racketeers: John Wayne goes undercover as John Weston, a rodeo star, to rope a gang of rodeo racketeers. This is one of the few films in which "The Duke" is a riding, roping and singing cowboy and shows the unique side of his early career.
