The 141 tokens consist of 99 square animal tokens (11 each of flamingos, camels, leopards, elephants, pandas, chimpanzees, zebras, kangaroos, and lions) of which there are 2 fertile females and 2 fertile males per animal species, 18 round offspring tokens (2 of each animal species), 12 square kiosk tokens (3 of each of 4 types), and 12 square coin tokens. The lion tokens, included for the King of beasts edition, can be swapped with another animal species. A green cloth bag is included to store the tokens. For ages 8 and up.

Summary:
Players each manage a zoo and attempt to score the highest number of points to win the game. Each game round consists of a series of player decisions: place a token on a delivery truck, or take a truck and pass until the end of the round, or do a money action. A round ends when all players have taken and emptied a delivery truck. Money actions, which require the use of wooden coins or coin tokens, include rearranging a zoo (moving or exchanging animals), purchasing tokens from other players, discarding tokens, and expanding a zoo. At the end of the game points are scored for the number of animal species tokens in zoo enclosures and the types of kiosk tokens present in the zoo, and points are lost for each type of animal species token and kiosk type present in a player's barn at the end of the game.
