Summary:
Popeye was originally created by cartoonist Elzie Crisler Segar in 1929 as a guest character in a newspaper comic strip called Thimble Theatre. He became so popular that the comic strip was renamed Popeye and focused on his adventures. This two-disc DVD set includes 24 full-color classic cartoons from the 1950s with several bonus features.
