Edition lilmited to 1250 numbered copies for sale to members of The Folio Society, and 25 lettered copies which are not for sale. Bound by G. Lachenmaier in full goatskin leather; front board blocked in 22-carat gold with a design by Neil Gower from Gill's original engraving; Merida Indigo end-leaves; all edges gilt; attached ribbon page marker; presented in a buckram-bound solander box. Accompanied by a 48-page commentary volume, quarter-bound in buckram with Merida paper sides: The Golden Cockerel Press Troilus & Cresyde: essays by Roderick Cave and Barry Windeatt.
