Fifteen-year-old Alyx was born intersexed. But it is not a secret she is willing to share with the entire world. After moving from California to Milwaukee, Alyx sets out to enjoy high school and stay off the radar. She joins the girls' basketball team and quickly becomes a star. Things are going well until Pepper Pitmani becomes determined to find out what Alyx is hiding. If her secret is discovered, the entire basketball team will lose its chance to win the state championship. Will Alyx finally stand up for herself? Or will she run away as she always has?
