The study of different fields (law, grammar, religion, tactics, etc.) and of a multiplicity of forms of writing (palaeographic, epigraphic, and papyrological ones) will give, for the first time, an in depth knowledge of the Latin speaking milieus in Byzantium and of the contexts where Latin was used. Taking into account the political and sociological factors will permit us to put the ancient sources in a broader problematic, across multiple disciplines and beyond the gaps between literary and non-literary texts, history and philology. 650 0 $a Latin language $z Byzantine Empire. 650 0 $a Latin language, Postclassical. 650 7 $a Latein. $0 (DE-588)4114364-4 $2 gnd 651 7 $a Byzantinisches Reich. $0 (DE-588)4009256-2 $2 gnd 700 1 $a Garcea, Alessandro, $e editor. 700 1 $a Rosellini, Michela, $e editor. 700 1 $a Silvano, Luigi, $e editor. 830 0 $a Corpus Christianorum. $p Lingua patrum ; $v 12. 941 $a 1 952 $l OVUX522 $d 20231117022801.0 956 $a http://locator.silo.lib.ia.us/search.cgi?index_0=id&term_0=7DE9D8D68FC011ECBA4AA6A62FECA4DBInitiate Another SILO Locator Search
