Multiple crimes against humanity, including torture, execution, and child abuse were committed inside the enclave. Today the various criminal cases remain primarily unprosecuted and unresolved, due to the lack of political will, unresolved issues of legal jurisdiction, statute of limitations, the death of most of the principal offenders and the questionable legal status of the Colonia Dignidad which had been recently re-incorporated as an autonomous agricultural production center and renamed Villa Baviera. The project Dignidad has been exhibited national and internationally through a series of performances and installations since 2018 including the National Archive of Chile (SCL); Artist Space (NYC) ; Artist Television Access, ATA (SF,CA); The Meermanno Museum (ND) ; The Print Center (PA) and The Center for Book Arts (NYC)). The artist books gives account of this actions along with a historical and curatorial text of Chilean writer Matias Celedon in English and Spanish." -- Artists website. 546 $a In Spanish and English. 505 80 $t Moving memorials: Antofagasta, New York, Washington DC, Santiago $r Maria VeroÌnica San MartiÌn R. 505 80 $t Dignidad: Archivo Nacional de Chile, 5 oct.-27 nov. 2018 $r Maria VeroÌnica San MartiÌn 505 80 $t Diginidad: Kunstenaarsboeken van Maria VeroÌnica San MartiÌn 505 80 $t Diginidad: Artists' books by Maria VeroÌnica San MartiÌn 505 80 $t Dignidad: Kunstenaarsboeken van / Artists' books by Maria VeroÌnica San MartiÌn, 21.09.19-05.01.20 505 80 $t Keith Carter: Seek & Find -- The Politics of Rhetoric, September 13 -- November 16, 2019 648 7 $a 1900-1999 $2 fast 650 0 $a Artists' books $v Specimens. 650 0 $a Human rights in art. 650 0 $a Disappeared persons in art. 650 7 $a Artists' books. $2 fast $0 (OCoLC)fst00817660 650 7 $a Disappeared persons in art. $2 fast $0 (OCoLC)fst00894679 650 7 $a Human rights in art. $2 fast $0 (OCoLC)fst00963349 651 0 $a Chile $x History $y 20th century. 651 0 $a Colonia Dignidad (Chile) 651 7 $a Chile. $2 fast $0 (OCoLC)fst01205362 651 7 $a Chile $z Colonia Dignidad. $2 fast $0 (OCoLC)fst01272219 655 7 $a History. $2 fast $0 (OCoLC)fst01411628 655 7 $a Specimens. $2 fast $0 (OCoLC)fst01423861 655 7 $a Artists' books. $2 rbgenr 655 7 $a Artists' books. $2 lcgft 655 7 $a Artists' books $z Buenos Aires $z Buenos Aires $y 21st century. $2 rbgenr 710 2 $a Archivo Nacional (Chile), $e contributor. 710 2 $a Asociación por la Memoria y los Derechos Humanos Colonia Dignidad (Chile), $e contributor. 700 1 $a Hempel, Winifred, $e contributor. 941 $a 1 952 $l OVUX522 $d 20231117020658.0 956 $a http://locator.silo.lib.ia.us/search.cgi?index_0=id&term_0=8F0A7D12664511EDB99D19AA23ECA4DBInitiate Another SILO Locator Search
