Summary:
Newly promoted DCI Cadi John and DS Owen Vaughan investigate the brutal murder of a former school teacher. But the case has few leads, as a group of local teenagers knows more than they are letting on and even the victim's family seems to be withholding information. As Cadi navigates a complex web, she also contends with the death of her father and complicated family relationships, while Owen adjusts to life as a new parent. Despite their tumultuous personal lives, the pair are determined to find answers in a small community that's intent on burying its secrets.
