Los cactus y las plantas suculentas son capaces de sobrevivir en condiciones ambientales tan extremas que se han visto obligados a crear sistemas de adaptaci̤n diferentes a los del resto de la flora. Gran almacenamiento de agua, capacidad de reflexi̤n de la radiaci̤n solar y ra̕ces largas son algunas de las peculiaridades de estas plantas. De cada especie se aportan l̀minas en color tomadas del natural, una completa informaci̤n, consejos para un cultivo ̤ptimo y alguna curiosidad que la hace ͠nica. Cacti and succulent plants are able to survive in such extreme environmental conditions that they have been forced to create adaptation systems different from those of the rest of the flora. Large water storage, reflectivity of solar radiation and long roots are some of the peculiarities of these plants.
