Summary:
"Jane and Pop are two matching socks--they stick together as a pair, no matter what. But sometimes Pop gets sick and has to go to rehab. When he does, Jane lives with a foster family until they can be together again. This time, Jane is sent to a community called Three Boulders. It's a weird place, but as the days pass, Jane's surprised to find that it feels more like home than she thought anywhere without Pop ever could. Still, Jane knows she belongs with her dad. Except she's got a hurt wrist from the last night she was with him, and people keep asking questions about it. Jane doesn't want to tell the honest truth about what happened, and she doesn't understand why it's anyone's business anyway. Pop has always been Jane's family, and she'll do anything to stay with him. But it turns out family can have a whole bunch of different meanings, and as Jane discovers what family can mean for her, she might just find a whole drawer full of socks."-- Provided by publisher.
