Songwriter: Doc Jenkins, one of country music's most beloved stars, has a messy private life. He's split up with his partner, Blackie, his wife has thrown him out of the house, and a sleazy manager is out to steal his songs. Teaming up with Blackie, Doc takes drastic measures to win back his family and reclaim his songs. Bloodworth: After a forty year absence, E.F. Bloodworth re-enters the lives of the family members he abandoned, upsetting his wife and three grown sons, but forging a new, close relationship with the grandson he never knew. Falling from Grace: A singer and his wife returns to his Indiana hometown to celebrate his grandfather 80th birthday. But once there he risks his marriage by renewing a love affair with his high school sweetheart and risks his life with the hard drinking and high wire antics that made him famous. Don't come knocking: A washed-up Western movie star, uses alcohol, drugs, and young women to escape from the pain of his life. One day he suddenly flees the set of his latest Western on horseback one he learns that he may have a grown son in Montana, where he once had a fling with a local waitress.
