Summary:
Explores the life and work of American poet Ezra Pound. Examines the poet's friendships, his growing disillusionment with modern life, and his isolation and obsession with economic and political ideas that led him, after several years in Italy, to deliver radio broadcasts supporting Mussolini. Includes narrations by Pound combined with discussions and commentary by Basil Bunting, James Laughlin, Alfred Kazin, and Hugh Kenner.
