Summary:
Somewhere just outside Phoenix lurks a "peeping tom," a killer. He's abandoning his partially clad victims in the cool, dark desert, terrifying even the most intrepid Arizona women. Enter Joanna Brady, a young widow, and Cochise County's newly elected sheriff. Summoned to a police academy in Phoenix for officer training, she swiftly dodges her chauvinistic instructor for the state's hottest case. But when the killer strikes Joanna's female classmate, Joanna becomes embroiled in an emotional search. Worse yet, her young daughter is in Phoenix for Thanksgiving and could be a target.
