The Cantaloupe Moon captures the gentle conversations between a parent and her child. Each night, the little girl notices that the moon changes slightly. Her curiosity and imagination are off and running as she compares the cosmic object to her favorite type of food: fruit. It becomes an ongoing tradition each night to notice the moon and find which fruit it resembles the most. But what happens when the moon is not shining? The little girl does not fret; she knows that the moon is only playing peekaboo and it will return once more.
