The Great Fish is the story of Jonah and the whale retold in Readers Theater format. Jonah was a reluctant prophet whose decision to disobey God’s command landed him in the belly a great fish, called "Ithy" in this dramatic text for children. Ithy obeys God’s command to swallow Jonah whole. Jonah repents and follows God’s command to go to the city of Nineveh where he experiences God's love and mercy as the people of Nineveh are saved and he is given a second chance.
