Summary:
Seventeen primarily instrumental songs performed by well-known artists from the bluegrass, folk, and Americana genres. All of these tunes are newly discovered and previously unrecorded, original compositions of the late John Hartford, newgrass pioneer, and writer of the classic Gentle on My Mind. They convey a variety of styles within the acoustic music tradition, both traditional and progressive, and are sure to garner a wide listening audience.
