In graphic novel format, Bud, an American bulldog, describes how he accompanied Dr. Horatio Nelson Jackson and his chauffeur and mechanic, Sewall Crocker, on their historic drive from San Francisco to New York City in 1903, making them the first men--and the first dog--to make the cross-country trip in an automobile.
