Fay's usually reliable husband is beginning to change, bouts of forgetfulness affecting his job as a judge. As her husband succumbs to dementia, Fay retreats into a fantasy world where she imagines a glamorous, pain-free life with a handsome neighbor she barely knows coming to the rescue.
