A documentary about the Vancouver Poetry Conference held at the University of British Columbia in the summer of 1963. Organized by University of British Columbia English professor Warren Tallman and Robert Creeley, the conference focused on open form poetics and featured lectures, workshops, and open discussion; instructors included Charles Olson, Allen Ginsberg, Robert Duncan, Robert Creeley, and Denise Levertov. The film features interviews and discussions with participants of the conference as well as original audio of poems and discussion from the conference.
