The three Daley brothers, Joe, a mob-connected cop, Michael, an assistant district attorney, and Ricky, an upscale burglar, become caught up in the hysteria surrounding the investigation of the Boston Strangler in 1963, while closer to home they find themselves suspicious of Brendan Conroy, their father's partner at the time of Joe Sr.'s unsolved murder, who has now moved in with their mother.
