Summary:
Lutheran social ministry organizations are the single largest group of nonprofit social and health services in the United States and the Caribbean. These organizations are urban and rural, north and south, east and west. Virtually every type of service to others is delivered by these agencies of the church. This enterprise is grounded in the conviction that service to others is a fundamental expression of faith.
