Elizabeth Garst, widow of Roswell Garst, talks about the visit Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev and his wife Nina made to their farm in 1959 at Coon Rapids, Iowa. She also talks about United States and Soviet relations. In second portion, Stephen Garst recalls Khrushchev's visit and reflects on trade with the Soviet Union; concludes with a short report of the upcoming visit to the Midwest by Mikhail Gorbachev.
