Summary:
Lured by the myth of Gum San, the Gold Mountain where fortunes are made, thousands of Chinese workers leave their home to lay railway tracks in North America. Among them is Little Tiger (Sun Yi), a beautiful Chinese woman, who finds pain, suffering, hope and forbidden love in the Rockies, while striving to complete the transcontinental railroad built by tycoom Alfred Nichol (Sam Neill).
