Summary:
The tourist season is the life-blood of little Winfield--nothing must make tourists stay away. Audra, a young single mom, has opened 'Audra's Place,' a coffee shop-bakery. Like everyone else in her small town, she's counting on the summer trade for most of her year's income. Tourists flock to the shore of Lake Superior for summer fun--NOT traps that explode into flame. As more traps explode, it appears that someone is targeting those closest to Audra. Uncertainty and fear over this push Audra into a living nightmare. Still trying to live down his wild youth, the newly elected sheriff Carter faces this challenge and bitter hatred from Audra's uncle. But the investigation pulls Audra and Carter together and he can't help being drawn to Audra and her sweet little girl who wants a daddy.
