Summary:
Carrie White, has a shy and awkward demeanor, obscured by the fact that she is "gifted" with awesome telekinetic powers. As part of a cruel and vicious student prank, Carrie's better-looking and more socially savvy classmates arrange for her to be elected prom queen. Once she is crowned, Carrie unleashed a terror that includes burning down most of the school and all but 11 students attending the prom that night.
