Summary:
Bored with life in a New York City zoo, Marty the zebra escapes with the help of some crafty penquins. Alex the lion, Melman the giraffe, and Gloria the hippo set out after him. Everyone ends up in the wild on the island of Madagascar, where the 4 friends have to discover their true animal natures and master their instincts. Fortunately, a band of partying lemurs come to their rescue.
