Summary:
A comedy about an aspiring New York songwriter named Artie Shaugnessy who wants to escape his unhappy marriage to Bananas, elope with his mistress Bunny, and write a hit song. On Oct. 4, 1965, the day Pope Paul visits New York City, Bunny convinces Artie to call his old school friend Billy Einhorn, a film director in Los Angeles, to ask for a job writing music for Billy's movies. However, before Artie can reach Billy, Artie's son Ronnie goes AWOL from Fort Dix, secretly preparing to assassinate Pope Paul at Yankee Stadium.
