For the Music for the funeral of Queen Mary, the March and canzona are the only items which can be ascribed with any certainty to the occasion of Queen Mary's funeral; the other choral pieces are two verse anthems (Thou know'st, Lord : 2 settings) and two full anthems (In the midst of life; Man that is born of a woman), all known to have been composed before 1682 or 1683.
