Made during the height of the Vietnam War, Farocki's film attempts to make "visible" the physical properties of Napalm B, developed by Dow Chemical in Midland, Michigan for use in the Vietnam War. By questioning civilian responsibility for the production of this horrific chemical weapon, Farocki offers a parody that questions our values and is truly provokative.
