Summary: The mostly abstract oeuvre of Belgian painter Raoul De Keyser (*1930 in Deinze) has met with resounding international approval since the eighties. This monograph presents works froma creative period lasting formore than forty years. De Keyser's painting has been influenced by the modernism of the postwar years: although his compositions are reserved and austere, and make reference to Color Field painting and Minimalism, they are nevertheless extraordinarily.
