Mountain man Andy Gunder is struggling through life on the New Mexico frontier in 1878. When a savage bandit robs the bank and kidnaps three girls from the local school, Andy takes on the job of tracking down the bandit and getting the girls back. When it turns out that one of the girls is as tough as he is, he gets more back than he bargained for.
