Summary:
Boubacar Traoré, a Malian blues musician who performed under the name KarKar, sang for independence in the 1960s but he had to leave music and become a tailor and salesman in order to provide for his family. This documentary looks at KarKar's life and his eventual return to contemporary Malian culture.
